The application of notes can be used for all kinds of purposes, it is a really useful tool when writing our personal notes, and it is also useful to create our shopping list, to write articles, to draw sketches of a project, etc.
But there can always be an accident and delete some of these notes with important data. Don’t worry, Apple provides users up to 30 days to recover the deleted notes from the native iOS Notes app. If it takes more than 30 days, the note will be permanently deleted.
Apple has been enhancing its Notes application with each iOS update, making it increasingly secure and useful. We can protect and recover our notes in just a few simple steps. To recover the deleted notes we will follow the following instructions:
The first thing we should do is open the Notes application. Then we go to the upper left and press the icon.
After pressing the icon we access the different folders of notes that we have, in the iCloud notes we will see a folder called “Recently Deleted”, as long as we have a deleted note.
After entering the recently deleted folder, click on the “Edit” button, located in the upper right corner.
Now we select the notes that we want to recover and click on “Move to …” and click on the folder we want to save it.
When you return to the Notes folder you have chosen, you can verify that the deleted note has been recovered successfully. If you have not been able to find the deleted note on your device, it’s probably gone forever. Either because your software is not updated, or because more than 30 days have passed and the iCloud backup has been deleted.
Generally speaking, your notes still remain somewhere on the iPhone at the time you deleted them, not just the “Recently Deleted” folder, so the first thing you should do is minimize the use of your iPhone and use an iPhone data recovery to recover the notes.
